After yesterday’s 500 point rally the Dow opened 150 points higher today and managed to gain strength despite more selling in large cap tech stocks on concerns about government antitrust investigations. Shares of Google have lost 5.5% in just the last 3 days.

  • GOLD +6.6 to 1335

In corporate news shares of GameStop, already down 35% for the year plunged another 35% to an all-time low after the video game retailer reporting a 10% drop in same store sales and eliminated their dividend. Canadian marijuana stock Cronos gained 11% after Bank of America upgraded the shares to buy based on prospects for U S expansion.  Salesforce.com was 5% higher after the software company reported earnings 50% better than expected and raised guidance.
