U.S. stocks added to yesterday’s big rally with financials leading in response to rising yields in long term treasury bonds.  The S&P 500 moved further into record territory while the Dow and Nasdaq approach all-time highs set earlier this year.  A combination of diminished concerns over North Korea and lower than expected hurricane damages seem to have emboldened investors.  Oil prices are steady today holding above $48 a barrel and gold remained little changed entering the final hour of the session.    At the close…

In corporate news, Apple held its annual event where it unveiled three new iPhone models and the new Apple Watch.  Apple shares ended slightly lower on the day.
